What is the Athletherm kids’ waterproof poncho?

The Athletherm poncho is a fleece-lined, waterproof poncho for children designed to keep kids warm and dry before, during, and after outdoor activities. It combines a durable waterproof outer shell with a soft fleece lining, making it perfect for sports, school trips, camping, and everyday play in the UK’s unpredictable weather.

Who is the Athletherm poncho designed for?

Athletherm is made for active children aged 6–14 who love football, rugby, swimming, athletics, and outdoor adventures. Parents choose it because it’s practical, comfortable, and long-lasting.

How is Athletherm different from other kids’ waterproof ponchos?

Athletherm combines a waterproof polyester shell, fleece-lined interior, fixed hood, side poppers to create sleeves, bottom poppers to enclose the poncho, and a large front pocket. This makes it one of the best waterproof changing ponchos for kids in the UK.

What sizes are available for Athletherm ponchos?

Athletherm ponchos are available in a range of sizes for ages 6–14. Each size has extra room so kids can quickly pull it on over sports kits or casual clothes.

Is the Athletherm poncho suitable for sports?

Yes – Athletherm is ideal for football, rugby, swimming, athletics, camping, or any outdoor activity. It works perfectly as a waterproof football sideline poncho or a warm changing poncho after swimming.

How do I wash and care for my Athletherm poncho?

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Do not tumble dry or iron. With the right care, the poncho stays warm, durable, and water-resistant for years.

Is the Athletherm poncho unisex?

Yes – Athletherm is a unisex poncho suitable for both boys and girls.

Brilliant product. Have found that other similar products can be a bit restrictive when moving and training, but these give our son a lot more freedom to move around freely whilst staying warm and dry!
